R.T.P.- Grinder, Palo Alto Bowls 1994: The contrast between the yellow smiley face and the blue sky as well as the fact that both Artie and the face have just about the same look make this a pretty cool photograph. This is about the point where I guess you could say I started getting serious about photography and the bowls were the perfect place to get used to my camera. I had all the rippers ready to shoot here- Paul Zuanich, Tim McKinney, Firebird glen and of course the ruler Phil Shao and a host of other shred dogs. Even though I will probably never shoot or skate this spot again it remains as one of my favorites of all time. I think I am going to cry.
