THE
OLLIE
The ollie is a
trick that is pretty much the core of skateboarding. Everything
comes and starts from the ollie pretty much so getting good at
this trick will get you ready to go on to some more challenging
tricks. To get started with this trick you want to place your
back foot on the tail in the center lifting up your heel and
applying the pressure on the balls of your feet and toes. Next
place your front foot in between the center of your board and
the lower front bolts. Now the next part is where it gets
tricky. Kick your tail down with your back foot really hard and
at the same time you have to pull your front foot forward up to
the nose and level out your board. The key is to make sure you
jump not just with your front foot but also your back foot if
you don't lift your back foot your ollie will be saggin. Next
just wait for the ground to hit the wheels bend your knees and
ride away smooth. Check out Eric Sepulveda with a ollie over a
handicap ramp in the video clip for this trick tip.
