Spot Name:
The Junkyard
Location:
This spot is right underneath Highway 87. Take the
Julian Street exit off of Hwy 87 North. Take a right once you get off,
and then a left on
San Pedro St. Go all the way down Pedro(which isn't far) and on your
right
will be a fenced in area. You have to either slither through the fence
or
climb over it, but don't worry, you never get kicked out.
Description:
This spot is what the name says, a junkyard. Its a
big area
underneath a freeway that has pillars to support it turning into ledges
on
the ground. The ledge's sizes range from about 10" to a foot and a half.
They look really chunky but they're really nice. There are three of
them,
and there is also a little bank that goes to the wall that people have
bondo'd so you can wallride. There's that really big junkjig so most of
the
time people will get stuff out and make little ramps and stuffé. And its
good for skating on those rainy days because it has the roof. People
sometimes will bring rails or things there so you'll always have a good
time. I've seen hella heads there like Julien Quivedo practicing his
switchflip back tail bigspins and Edward Deverra, and hellllls more. Oh
yeah, there are wires hanging from the ceiling to make your filming look
so
much more gangster.
