Well there are a couple of skate
spots in Napa that are worth checking out,
but I'm going to tell you about my favorite, the Health Clinic.
The Health Clinic is composed of a small gap that was almost closed up by
the maintenance workers putting a table in front of it, but its still
skate able if you can squeeze by. Next there's the manual pad, is a good
length, waxed curb right next to it also. Then there's the ledge, this is
my
favorite part, it is basically a red waxed ledge that goes from curb
height
to about the back of you knees. Its one long ledge that's painted red and
waxed so hold on before you slip out and wack your face on the fence
hugging
the ledge. The fence isn't too much of a problem once you get used to it.
Lastly there is a shitty ass private school just a fence hop away. Jump
the
fence, walk through the field, then come up to the skate spots other half,
there's a perfect 4 with a really long start so lines are possible, also
there are ledges not for grinding and sliding but for doing stuff off of
parallel. Also there is a little wedge thing and these green benches that
you can put going down the curbs or the 4. lastly a little manual pad and
that's about it. The hours are simple you can skate the clinic any day
after
4 and all day on Sundays, you might get away with skating the ledge
anytime
because its in the back. The private school is still a school so you know
when to skate it. And if caught hoping the fence just use the great
excuse,
"I lost my hacky sack." works every time, especially how there are "no
trespassing" sign all over it..... The clinic is on Old Sonoma road in the
southern end of Napa. Just go in the back and have fun.
