Elementary school called University Park, or
U.P. This place is awesome. It's got a nice,
long parking lot excellent for flatland
tricks. There is a nice 4. There is a ok 6
stair near the bike racks at the end of the
parking lot. You will also notice a U-shaped
gap near the four stair. Only do the gap
when the parking lot is empty, thus making a
nice runaway. There is also a grass gap with
a very nice runaway near the 4 stair. It is
few feet long. You will see some handrails
on the 4 stair. These are kinks and not
perfect for skating. There are three of
these, and look at the most right one.
Between the most right handrail and the
small tree, there is a secret gap. It is not
good if you're tall, because you'll hit
the tree. It is possible and try it. You
will also see a stage towards the interior
of the campus. The stage has a hidden gap,
which is called the Planter's Gap. You'll
have to ollie earlier to avoid hitting the
small brick wall. By going towards back of
the school past the benches where the soccer
field is, there is a baseball dugout with 4
ledges. These ledges are bombarded with
skate stoppers, but we have managed to skate
it. Very nice for doing tricks off them. You
will also notice that near the dugout, you
can head down towards the street. The curb
by the street has a grass gap. Nice, but
watch out for cars. There is a 8 stair near
here. Turn towards left where this gap is
and if you pass the soccerfield, you will
see a community pool named "Village Park
Pool." It is not really good for skating,
but go in and check it out, it might offer
some spots. Behind the pool, there is a 8
stair. It has a rail but not very good for
skating, except boardslides if you are good
at them. If you head the opposite direction
of the grass gap by the street I mentioned
earlier and head up, you will see a
basketball court with some vending machines.
You will easily find this place if you ask
where the University Park library is. This
is a nice spot to play skate because of the
nice ground. If you ask any local skaters,
there is a nice 6 stair near the school. It
is by a community pool, obscurely located.
Find it by asking where the community pool
with some tennis courts is. If you head down
the street of Michelson, you can see
shopping complex. There is a Carl's, Jr.
Find the Rite Aid and near it where the
medical offices are, there are two manual
pads. If you look through that building
you'll find a 3. These spots are only an
extremely few of the many, many spots in
Irvine.
