San Ramon California, a 5 minute skate from the skate park is Iron Horse Middle School (to get there, skate to the trail near the office buildings to the left of the skatepark, go down it for a ways then when u get to the big field, get off your board, walk across and you'll be at the school), which has some pretty nice ledges. there's a big square ledge out front, waxed to butter and good for tech tricks. then near the track is a big circle of cement surrounded by 3 perfect butter ledges probably about 18" high they go around the whole circle and are really long, great for nice smooth grinds or slides. good flat ground all around, its a pretty fun spot to warm up at or get some lines. very chill, very sick!
