Martinez Skatepark

To get to the Martinez Skatepark from 680 North take the Martinez/Marina Exit. Make a left at the light and follow the road Marina Vista all the way through the toxic area till it dumps you into town. Make a right on Ferry St. then a right into the park. The Martinez skate park is located on North Court Street.

Martinez Skatepark

The Martinez Skatepark is a cool skatepark for all you bowl riders. There is not much to the street area just a small pyramid, flat ledge, angled ledge and a flat rail. The large bowl is a lot of fun with lots of different lines to take it connects to the rest of the park with a spine. The Martinez Skate park has a good flow overall just lacks some street stuff. Plan a trip during the week to avoid scooters.

ADD A REVIEW
Added by Jeff Monterosa
I was just looking over how you reviewed the skate park in my city.  It think it was rated fine but you just made a couple mistakes. The first correction to your review on the Martinez Skate park is that the site says that no pads are required. Basically they aren't but when cops come by they will write tickets to those not wearing pads. It is easy to spot them coming so you can just chill in the picnic table area until they leave to avoid getting a ticket.  But occasionally bike police will come by and they are very sneaky so that's where most tickets given out come from. Secondly about the local Skate shops. Just recently a new skate shop opened called Blue Streak. It is real close to the skate park. From the park just go up to road towards the train tracks and follow it up then turn right at Escobar Street.  The shop is the one on the right of the white building with blue stripe things along it.  It has music and skateboard equipment.  It is a cool skate shop run by cool people.  They have a small graphic deck selection but have cheap blank decks that are as good quality as most graphic decks. Its cool if u snap a deck and just need a replacement deck to skate.  The Address is:
635 Escobar Street
