To get to the Hayward Skatepark from 880 North take the Tennyson Road exit stay to the right and stay on Tennyson Road for about two miles. Make a right on Huntwood the Hayward Skatepark is located inside the Tennyson Park on the corner of Tennyson Rd and Huntwood.

The Hayward Skatepark is an alright skate park. This park has a 4 foot deep oval bowl which is connected with coping to another round 4 foot bowl. The rest of the park is just banks and pretty steep pyramids. There's a few other ledges and stuff to grind on but that's about it. Pads and helmet rules are posted but not enforced. Overall I think the Alameda Skatepark is a better choice and it's not far from here.
