Dear caliskatz, I am a volunteer at the Encino Park ( Pedlow Field
skate park) and I read your review on it. First the staff there are
really cool and I know all off them. They don't "bug" people about the
pads they just check to see if you have pads and if you need rentals. It
is a rule that you have to wear pads. It's not the staff's fault. Also
the park is not a joke the plans were good but, when they built it it
got a little messed up. The park is still good. It has a nice flow, very
fun rails that slide good, a few beginner ramps, the ledges there
are fun, which vary from small to large, and a vert section in the back.
Your comment about if you work there you don't have to wear pads is
false everyone has to wear pads. In the near future they will be adding
more to the park, and it should be done right we are discussing it at
our monthly board meetings). I hope you will reconsider your
description of the park now. This has been my review of the Encino Park
( Pedlow Field Skate Park is the real name).
