Q: Where were you brought up?
A: Los Altos Hills Ca.
Q:
Where do you reside
currently?
A: Aliso Viejo Ca. OC
Q:
Let all the
kiddies know your current Sponsors?
A: Element Skateboard and Clothing, Circa Footwear, Krux
Trucks, Project Hardware, Ricta Wheels, Swiss Bearings,
SkateWorks Skateshop, TiltMode Army.
Q: When did you turn pro?
A: May 2001
Q:
And did it
change your outlook on skating any?
A: Not at the beginning, but after a
while I started not enjoying it as much as I did before. Now
after all the BS, skateboarding is all I want to do, just needed
some time to get away form the negative parts of skating.
Q:
How did you get connected with Element?
A: A friend through a friend let
me know that Element was interested in Sponsoring me.
Q: What's the worst
injury that you have had?
A:
I popped my right shoulder out of place
trying a trick I'm not going to say, but it hurt worse then
anything else I've encountered in the past, cry was an option at
the time, but TiltMode taught me there are no wimps in this
Army.
Q: What's
the word on the Colt Cannon
pro shoe?
A: The word is I don't know. Do
you think I deserve a pro shoe? Plus, if they were to give me
one, it would be as close to a great skate shoe as it could be.
Q:
You definitely deserve one! What crazy
number combination do you think you will get? ( Maybe CC143 or
how about something crazier CC187 )
A: I
have told myself, if I were to get a shoe, it would be the
CC650. 650 being the area code I used to live in while I lived
up north.
Q:
People probably think your kidding when
you say that you like pop music. So for the record do you really
like pop music?
A: I won't lie and I don't think
anyone else should either. Everyone likes one or two songs from
pop artists. I like a few more. It's popular music, I don't
know. Plus, Britney's hot, I have to support her.
Q: What
is your favorite POP group or singer?
A:
I like No Doubt a lot.
Britney. No Doubt for sure.
Q:
This one is for all the kids out there.
How is it touring with bam?
A: The most common question I'm
asked. Bam is a freak just like he is on TV. Breaking a Van
window making the rest of the trip nice an windy is one
specialty. He's fun to be around and has endless jokes to make
you laugh with. Great guy.
Q:
Has he ever got you with a prank when you
are sleeping?
A: Bam has not messed with me
yet. I make sure I lock my doors or never close my eyes when I'm
around that guy. That last thing I need on a tour is all my
pants cut with big holes around the zipper.
Q:
Give me the break down on your brothers
aren't they all pro athletes?
A: My oldest brother is Dave,
he's really fast on the computer. The next brother is Jon, he
plays baseball in the minor leagues, but not for long because
he's going pro one day. Joey and Jon are twins, but Joey plays
pro soccer for the Colorado Rapids. Cody plays water polo and
was on the Jr. Olympic team one year. Then me, I skate at a
circus outside of town.
Q:
How come every time I talk to you its
either you just got back from a trip or you're about to go on a
trip? Do you really travel that much?

A: Yes. Your only on this world
once so you might as well see it all. Most of the traveling I do
though goes back to the same spots, but it's still fun for a
while. After two weeks away from home, I get home sick.
Q:
You run your own site
www.coltcannon.com
would you consider your self a computer nerd?
A: I would like to, but I'm not.
I like learning more about the things I deal with most, so that
happens to be my computer for one.
Q:
When is colt spice hitting the stores?
A: Colt Spice was a limited
addition product from Krux Trucks. It is the best body spray
ever made, and since it was so limited, I think only four
bottles were made. I got three of them.
Q:
You said in an old interview that you
wanted to move to so-cal are you still thinking about moving
down there?
A: Well, I actually already did
move down there. I like it because I started surfing, but other
then that, northern cal is the place to go.
Q:
How do you feel about skateboarding
contests?
A: I like skateboard contests, I
just wish more street skaters did them. Every contest I go to I
already know who's going to be there and who's not. Boost mobile
had the best contest, not because the ramps sucked, but because
it was all guys that never go to contests but kill street. Great
contest.
Q:
Nollie or Switch?
A: Switch
Q:
Who do you skate with these days?
A: Anyone I'm on tour with, Baby
Ice, Ryan Allen, Ryan Dewitt, Tony Tave.
Q:
Since you have become pro do you find it
hard to go to the neighborhood skatepark without getting lurked
by all the kiddies?
A: No, all the kids I come across
are really cool. It doesn't bother me, I use to do that when I
was little.
Q:
What do you do when your not skating?
A: Cleaning my house, making
food, Internet stuff or web stuff, reading. I try to keep doing
something, I hate sitting and not doing anything.
Q:
What is in your CD player right now?
A: The Dazed and Confused
Soundtrack. A great CD.
Q:
What was your last 9 to 5 type job?
A: My only job HAHA, was a job a
Posh Bagels in downtown Los Altos.
Q:
If there is one trick that you are known
for what would you say it is?
A: F/S nose grinds
Q:
Last but not least who do you want to
thank and give a shot out to?
A: I like to thank Marcos at
Caliskatz for letting me do this interview, my sponsors, all my
family and friends, all the kids that stop sitting on the ledge
I wanted to skate.
