It’s been just
about three years since we’ve heard from OC rock outfit Lit. You
remember them. “My Own Worst Enemy.” That other video that
featured Pam Anderson eating people. Those were the days. Well,
the fellas have returned with a self-titled fourth CD that they
recorded on their own terms, on their own timeline. According
to axe-slinger Jeremy, "We went back to our warehouse in
Anaheim, feeling free, jamming, for the reasons we started
playing in the first place. No deadlines, no expectations, and
no one polluting the process; just getting together to have fun
and write songs. That said, this record is a little more serious
than our others.” Less tongue-in-cheek, less sunny rock, but
rock all the same. To get a feel for the new tracks, check out
the LIT player. It features tracks from the album, the new band
bio, an updated News section, tour dates and will have a link to
the video. Directed by Nathan Cox (Linkin Park, Chevelle,
System of a Down), the video will be ready for consumption soon.
Lit will be hitting stores on June 22 and the first 100K
units of the new album will include a bonus DVD featuring
never-before-seen live footage and other exclusive material.

This record is coming just in time for summer, and looks to be a
huge return for the Cali rockers. The single sounds very
different from the previous output of the band.
